Workflow

Start

To begin, I need to understand the project and receive the necessary materials. Files can be sent by email, cloud transfer or another shared platform.

  • scope of the project
  • brief conceptual description
  • site location or google coordinates
  • summary of program and functions
  • pictures of the site
  • landscape description
  • material descriptions or references
  • furniture or model references
  • possible viewpoints
  • lighting and mood reference

Model

I accept models from Rhino, Revit, Archicad, 3ds Max, SketchUp and other common tools. Models should be exported to standard 3D formats when needed.

  • clean and readable geometry
  • well organized layers
  • no hidden objects or unused layers
  • no unnecessary model information
  • optimized geometry
  • consistent units
  • model located close to origin
  • texture references attached

This is a good example for 6-8 rendering images

Modeling workflow preview

Modeling

I check model details and set up the main camera angles, geometry and image compositions.

You receive early model renders to comment on camera angle, geometry, composition and general image direction.

Please gather final comments into one clear file so changes can be handled efficiently.

(3 working days)

Rendering preview workflow

Rendering Preview

I test mapping, materials, lighting, entourage and atmosphere based on the approved direction.

A first low-resolution preview is sent at this phase. Comments can be made on material, light, mood and scene content.

Major geometry or sunlight changes after this stage may create extra work, so the direction should be confirmed here.

Post work preview workflow

Post Work Preview

I render high-resolution images and continue post-production on atmosphere, contrast, mood, people, activities and color.

You receive a further developed preview for final review. At this stage comments should focus on post-production refinement.

Please collect final comments in one file before final delivery.
